The Request For Tender (RFT) is seeking the delivery of logistic support services through a prime contractor in support of Australian Defence Force elements based in Al Minhad Airbase (AMAB), UAE and the Middle East Region. The Contract consists of approximately 21 services include catering, waste disposal, facilities and ground maintenance, laundry, transport, equipment and vehicle lease, procurement and welfare.

The tender documents (including Contract) are attached on AusTender (under ‘Go to ATM documents’). The scope of works and associated documents have not been attached. To obtain the full scope of works documentation, tenderers are to submit a signed Confidentiality Agreement as follows:

3. Go to Confidentiality Agreement (JLC 18-002 Tender Deed of Confidentiality and Fidelity.doc) which is part of Addendum 1.zip

4. Print and sign the Confidentiality Agreement

5. Return the signed copy by email, as a scanned PDF file, to the Contact Officer noted below:

Tenderers are to note that without the Confidentiality Agreement being returned to the Contact Officer, the complete scope of works cannot be released.

Any questions relating to this tender are to be forwarded via email to the Contact Officer. The cut-off date for questions pertaining to this tender is seven (7) calendar days before the tender close date. 

Industry Briefing Information:

It is the Commonwealth's intention to conduct an industry briefing and site visit in Dubai, UAE at a location and time set out in Annex A to Attachment B to the Tender Conditions for prospective prime tenderers and any of their approved sub contractors. Prospective tenderers must comply with the requirements of Annex A to Attachment B to the Tender Conditions in relation to the industry briefing and the Commonwealth reserves the right to refuse participation in the industry briefing if the tenderer is not able to comply with the industry briefing requirements.

Registration for the industry brief and site visit closes 4:00 pm local time in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) on 15 December 2017. Prospective tenderers should register their interest by sending an email including the required information to the Contact Officer as per Annex A to Attachment B of the Conditions of Tender. Only those prospective tenderers and approved subcontractors who have signed a Confidentiality Agreement will be eligible to attend the industry brief, one-on-one question and answer session, and site visits. For further details relating to the industry briefing please refer to Annex A of Attachment B to the Tender Conditions.

Conditions for Participation are:

a. Tenders (including all attachments, annexes and supporting documentation) are to be written in English.

b. All measurements in tenders are to be expressed in Australian legal units of measurement unless otherwise specified.

The contract is for an initial 3 year term commencing 1 January 2019, with two 12 month extension options.
