Request for Tender (RFT) to establish a panel for the provision of Data Centre Facilities Supplies
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
The Australian Government is seeking Data Centre suppliers to provide scalable and flexible arrangements to meet a wide range of Data Centre Facility Supplies requirements. Agencies require the provision of Data Centre Facilities Supplies to enable them or their ICT services provider to operate the Data Centre Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure equipment. Data Centre Facilities Supplies are to be provided and Data Centre Locations are to be located within Australia.
An Industry Briefing will be held by Finance in relation to this RFT. The Briefing will be held on Thursday 12 September 2013 (see RFT clause 10 for further details).
Tenderers must comply with, and confirm that it complies with, the Building Code 2013.
Each proposed Data Centre Facility must meet the following criteria:
a. be located within Australia;
b. have a PUE of 1.9 or less; and
c. have a capacity of 1 million Voltage-Amps (MVA). The one MVA minimum requirement is the designed capacity.
5 years with options for extension of 2 years, 2 years and 1 year.
