Geoscience Australia requires the acquisition of digital well log data and accompanying reports for both onshore and offshore wells. These data must be to industry standard and have undergone corrections including depth, temperature, salinity etc. and standardisation (e.g. compaction) to achieve a coherent, continuous suite of logs for each individual well.

The Conditions for Participation are:
a) the Tenderer and subcontractors must not be bankrupt or insolvent;

b) the Tenderer and subcontractors must not have had significant deficiencies in performance of any substantive requirement or obligation under a prior contract;

c) the Tenderer and its subcontractors must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth). (For Australian companies only);

d) The Tenderer and its subcontractors must not be listed as a designated entity by the Minister for Foreign Affairs by notice in the Gazette under s 15 of the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 (Cth);

e) the Tenderer and its subcontractors must not have any unpaid claims against them (excluding those subject to appeal) in respect of judicial decisions relating to employee entitlements;

f) the Tenderer and its subcontractors must comply with the Fair Work Act 2009. (For Australian companies only);

g) the tenderer and its subcontractors must respect freedom of association and the right to representation. Specifically, the tenderer must allow employees to be able to make a free and informed choice about whether to join a union and be represented at work.

h) The Tenderer must be able to obtain and maintain adequate levels of insurance.

i) The Tenderer must be willing to enter into a contract under standard Commonwealth terms and conditions (Refer Draft Contract).

Geoscience Australia will initially consider compliance with the Conditions for Participation as at the Tender Closing Time. However, Tenderers who cease to comply with the Conditions for Participation at any point in the tender process will not be considered further.
