Purge and Trap GCMS

The National Measurement Institute (NMI) is a Division of the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science and aims to provide measurement services to Australia. The Organics Section of the Analytical Services Branch (ASB) at NMI North Ryde carry out an extensive range of environmental, pharmaceutical, agricultural and food testing services and are equipped with numerous instruments and technologies that carry out these services. One such instrument is the Purge and Trap Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (PT-GCMS).
The NMI at 105 Delhi Rd, North Ryde, NSW wishes to replace the current PT-GCMS with a similar instrument to continue to service NMI customers. The new system should have the latest technologies including fast analysis and throughput, full automation and reduced operational and maintenance costs.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
The anticipated timeframe for the contract is 2 years.
