The scope of services (Services) is separated into 16 different Categories of Service:
(a) Print on demand;
(b) Digital black and colour printing and finishing – small format up to A3;
(c) Digital black and colour printing and finishing – large format above A3;
(d) Sheet offset black and colour printing and finishing <1,000 units;
(e) Sheet offset black and colour printing and finishing >1,000 units;
(f) Heatset web / coldset web black and colour printing and finishing;
(g) Form printing and finishing;
(h) Envelope printing and finishing;
(i) File cover printing and finishing;
(j) Security documents printing and finishing;
(k) Corporate merchandise;
(l) Specialised printing services;
(m) Custom finishing services;
(n) Duplication services;
(o) Braille and specialist services; and
(p) Customised plastic products.
1. The Applicant demonstrates that it has the relevant experience and expertise in delivery of the Categories of Service it has applied for.
2. The Applicant demonstrates that it has the capability and capacity to provide the Categories of Service it has applied for in accordance with the Statement of Requirement, including equipment and key personnel.
3. The Applicant demonstrates that it complies with relevant business processes, legislation, policy and standards in accordance with the Statement of Requirement in this RAI, including environmental standards.
4. Except in relation to corporate merchandise and distribution services, the Applicant demonstrates that it provides the Services itself, and is not merely a broker, agent, manager or dealer for the Services.
The maximum duration of the MUL is five years, from 30 October 2014 to 29 October 2019. However, Applicants should note that potential future changes to the Australian Government's procurement regulatory framework may result in the MUL being altered or ceased, possibly with short notice. The Department will keep Applicants-and subsequently, MUL members-appraised of any developments in this area.+
