ICT Managed Service Provider
Canberra, Melbourne
The NHMRC requires a managed services arrangement for the provision, management, maintenance and support of its ICT infrastructure. Including:
Platform Services such as:
a) Desktop Support;
b) File, Print, Email, Collaboration and Remote Access;
c) Internet Facing Services;
d) Business Applications Infrastructure Support and Maintenance;
e) Business Application Support and Maintenance; and
f) Data Network (excluding WAN provision).
Cross Platform Services such as:
a) Service Desk;
b) Service Management incorporating Incident Management, Event Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Release Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Procurement and Service Level Management;
c) IT Security Management;
d) Harmful Code Protection and Management;
e) Storage Management;
f) Backup, Archive and Restoration Management;
g) Cabling and Patching of Equipment (including cabling schema design and documentation);
h) Transition;
i) Disengagement;
j) Account Management;
k) ICT Skilled Resource provision;
l) Assistance and advice on ICT Architecture and Design; and
m) Assistance and advice on ICT Strategic Planning;
Due to the confidential nature of the ATM some documents containing NHMRC's current infrastructure are to be accessed from a dedicated virtual data room. Access to the virtual data room will be provided on the receipt of a signed Deed of Confidentiality in the form provided with the RFT (Schedule 2) to the contact email address on the cover page of the RFT.
The Conditions for Participation are as follows:
a) The Tenderer and any nominated subcontractors proposed in the Tender must not at the time of Tender be listed as terrorists under section 15 of the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 (Cth);
b) The Tenderer and any party proposed by the Tenderer to provide the Services, must not have a judicial decision against it (not including a decision(s) under appeal) relating to employee entitlements where the Tenderer, or any party proposed by the Tenderer to provide the Services, has not paid the claim;
c) The Tenderer must not be bankrupt or insolvent at the time of submitting a Tender;
d) The Tenderer must nominate a single legal entity which would enter into any resultant Contract with NHMRC;
e) The Tenderer must be willing, if offered by NHMRC, to enter into a Contract with NHMRC and any other Agency;
f) The Tenderer must Tender to provide the whole of the Services as part Tenders will not be accepted; and
g) The Tenderer must have the ability to commence the Contract in September 2014.
Contract executed by September 2014 with an initial Term of three (3) years with options to extend for 3 further terms of no less than one year up to a maximum contract length of six (6) years.
Handover Date for the services is to be 1 December 2014.
