ISREW Branch Integrated Support Contractor - Industry Briefing
Subject to internal delegate approval, the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) through the Department of Defence (Defence) is currently intending to release a Request for Tender (RFT) for Integrated Support Contractors (ISC) to support the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare (ISREW) Branch across a range of System Program Office (SPO) activities including Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Engineering and Project Management.
Defence intends to hold an industry briefing which seeks to:
a. Explain the intent of the new contracting approach, including timelines
b. Articulate the capabilities required and potential scope of work
c. Explain the proposed procurement process
d. Provide a networking opportunity for potential teaming discussions
e. Provide industry with an opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed approach.
Following the briefing, it is expected that an RFT will be released through AusTender as an Open Tender.
Please note that this may be subject to change and is subject to internal Defence delegate approval.
The industry briefing will be conducted at the National Library of Australia in Parkes, Canberra, ACT, commencing at 15:00pm (ACT Local Time) on 1 June, 2016.
Representatives attending the briefing will be limited to 2 personnel per industry member. Registration instructions may be obtained via email to EW.commercial@defence.gov.au.
A Contract Overview Document was released on AusTender on Friday, 27 May 2016 to provide further detail of the proposed contracting approach, together with an exposure draft of the proposed contract terms and conditions (ATM CASG/JSD/RFI0201/16).
Any draft terms and conditions provided prior to release of the RFT are subject to change by the Commonwealth at its discretion.
