Description:

The Therapeutic Goods Administration of the Department of Health is planning to publish a Request for Tender (RFT) for the establishment of a new Therapeutic Goods Assessment and Advisory Services Panel.

This panel is expected to deliver services such as evaluation services for a number of technical streams as follows:

• Clinical medicines and clinical technologies

• Nonclinical (pharmacology/toxicology) sciences

• Quality of pharmaceutical therapeutic goods (synthetic pharmaceuticals, biological sciences)

• Biostatistics expertise

• Pharmacoepidemiology expertise.

Additionally this panel will be expected to deliver services such as advisory services in the following Advisory streams

• Biostatistics

• Population pharmacokinetic analysis

• Nanotechnology

• Gene technology and cell therapy

• Epidemiology and emerging technologies.
