Services of a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) for the APPA 47 conference and side conference, Data+Privacy Asia
The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) is tendering for the services of a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) to work alongside the OAIC Strategic Communications and Coordination team to run the Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities Forum and a side conference called Data+Privacy Asia Pacific.
APPA is a forum for privacy authorities from the Asia Pacific region. It allows authorities in the region an opportunity to form partnerships, discuss best practices and to share information on emerging technology, trends and changes to privacy regulation. The APPA
Forum is held bi-annually across the Asia Pacific region, the 46th Forum was held in Mexico November 30 – December 2 2016.

Data+Privacy Asia Pacific will be a public side conference to APPA 47 and will be targeted at privacy professionals, privacy regulators, data and technology experts and corporations, governments and businesses. It is expected to attract 300 non-APPA members. The day will consist of a welcome and a morning plenary session, followed by concurrent streams, with the day concluding with a cocktail reception.
The OAIC will be responsible for receiving and accepting all abstracts/papers for the conference, sponsorship management, inviting speakers, managing social media and marketing.
