Through this Expression of Interest process Geoscience Australia is seeking to identify suppliers who have the capability and experience to:
a) Transition commodity ICT services and systems from the current GA staff and infrastructure to a managed service provider environment;
b) Provide ongoing managed services of the environment; and
c) Ensure integration between the new provider and GA science-specific data and services, which will continue to be managed with existing arrangements.
Geoscience Australia has divided the range of services that are being sought into 3 categories:
a) IT Service Management
b) IT Infrastructure; and
c) Software development.
Respondents may apply to be considered for one, two or all three categories. Geoscience Australia will not consider part-responses that are incomplete categories.

Any resultant RFT will indicate the timeframe for services. It is anticipated that an initial three year period with options will form the basis of the timeframe.
