Industry is invited to respond to this Request for Information in relation to Defence seeking to understand Industry capability to treat per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contaminated water.

Defence’s objective in conducting this RFI is to gain insights and appreciation of what industry is able to do and its capacity to do so in treating PFAS impacted groundwater and surface water.  Defence is remediating groundwater and surface water affected by PFAS contamination associated with the use, storage and waste management of historical Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) products.

The nature of the information being sought from Industry spans, but is not limited to, the following areas: expertise; technologies available; capability and capacity; systems effectiveness; and waste product management.

Respondents should be in businesses involved in the treatment of contaminated water and associated wastewater management and disposal.

The information provided in response to this RFI will inform planning activities that may lead to further approaches to market.
