Expression Of Interest (EOI) for the SyMo Chemical Manufacturing
The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) is issuing this Request for Expression of Interest from Chemical Manufacturing Companies with experience similar to pharmaceutical manufacture, interested in providing chemical manufacturing services to ANSTO. For logistic reasons ANSTO prefers to Australian based companies.
ANSTO will be evaluating the received Expressions of Interest and developed a short-list of companies that can demonstrate evidence of capabilities capability in the form of capability statements, meet the ANSTO quality level requirements and provide indicative cost of services. Short listed companies will be invited for the stage two of the tendering process and will be asked to provide a commercial offer.
The ANSTO anticipates a third party vendor to take responsibility for the provision of chemical consumables (raw materials) and other specialised services to operationally support the SyMo facility.
Applications will be assessed against the following required criteria to identify suitable short –listed Companies:
• The chemical manufacturing company preferably be based in Australia;
• Demonstrate expertise and experience in chemical handling and chemical manufacturing with similar processes to pharmaceutical industry;
• Demonstrate capability and expertise for performing quality analyses on received raw materials and manufactured products in compliance with specifications;
• Demonstrate capability to organise and monitor the shipping of products form its premises to ANSTO;
• Provide quality control and quality assurance procedures and documentation for full traceability of raw materials from originating source to supplier/manufacture of final products to ANSTO. This includes the custody of all relevant manufacturing records;
• The chemical manufacturing company shall conform to all applicable laws and regulations relating to manufacturing, processing, storing and shipping of materials;
• Provide control measures as deemed adequate by ANSTO Synroc to secure ANSTO Synroc Intellectual Property and other technological assets;
• The chemical manufacturing company is to acknowledge that due diligence measures shall be carried out by ANSTO before entering into any chemical manufacturing agreement which may include, but are not limited to:
• Inspections of the manufacturer’s facilities
• Audit of the manufacturers quality management system (QMS)
• Audit of the manufacturers supply chain and contractors or trading partners
• Assessment of business references from past and current clients
• Review of manufacturer organisational structure
• ANSTO may by notice request to manufacturer to provided detail with regards to security conditions for access, storage and transport of products
• Ensuring non-disclosure agreements with employees of manufacturer and subcontractors are in place and adequate
Must meet the selection Criteria and submit information requested in the Returnable Schedules
