New Construction and Refurbishment Works at Garden Island Dockyards and Lancer Barracks, NSW.
The project involves the design and construction of general building works and the refurbishment of existing facilities.
The works involve the following at Garden Island Dockyards, Sydney;
- Repair and reseal floor and walls of indoor basketball court within the Navy Indoor Sports Centre;
- Repair and Maintenance of Heritage Buildings within the Public Area; and
- Internal and External repairs and maintenance to Building 43.
The works at Lancer Barracks, Parramatta involves an upgrade and extension to an existing building.
The tender documents (including Contract) are loaded on AusTender (under ‘Go to ATM documents’).
The scope of works and associated documents have not been attached. To obtain the full scope of works documentation, tenderers are to submit a signed Confidentiality Agreement as follows:

4. Print and sign the Confidentiality Agreement
5. Return the signed copy by email, as a scanned PDF file, to the Contact Officer / PDS Contractor noted below.
Tenderers are to note that without the Confidentiality Agreement being returned to the Contact Officer / PDS Contractor, the complete Scope of Works are unable to be released.
An industry briefing in relation to the works will be held at the Aurecon offices, L5/116 Military Road Neutral Bay, NSW on
Wednesday 01 July 2015, commencing at 09:30 am.
Tenderers are to bring Government issued photo ID (i.e. driver’s license), and register their attendance with the Contact Officer / PDS Contractor via email 2 business days prior to the industry briefing (please provide full name, company name and mobile number for personnel who wish to attend). Applications for attendance after this time may not be accepted.
A maximum of 2 persons per company may be in attendance and tenderers should allow 1.5 hours for the briefing.

The cut-off date for questions pertaining to this tender is seven (7) days before the tender close date.
The Tenderer must at the time of submitting its Tender satisfy each condition for participation as specified in the Tender Documents including:
- The Tenderer must complete and return the Confidentiality Agreement.
- The Tenderer must have a Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) Endorsed Consultant in their project team to enable design and certification of the works at Lancer Barracks.
- The Contractor is required to provide sufficient appropriately authorised personnel who hold a current Baseline security clearance. Where this is not possible, the Contactor shall provide sufficient suitable cleared and authorised escort/s as required. The Commonwealth will not provide escorts for uncleared Contractor personnel.
- The Tenderer must comply with the Building Code 2013 at the time of submitting its registration of interest or if no registration of interest was submitted, at the time of submitting it’s tender.
- The Tenderer must not be precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work or specifically excluded from participating in this tender process.
Within 26 weeks of contract execution
