The purpose of this invitation is to seek tenders for design and delivery of digital content within the new ‘Action Stations’ experience being delivered by the Australian National Maritime Museum.

The tender requirement is for an integrated digital solution including production, testing, delivery and installation.  The Contractor is required to design and deliver digital products and their content.

The museum is seeking creative input to transform our ideas for digital exhibition interactives into tactile, immersive and engaging experiences that will work synergistically with the other elements of the Action Stations experience.

The brief encompasses all elements of user experience design, animation, coding, video and audio production, hardware specification, right down to testing and maintenance of the interactives.

The purpose of this tender is to engage a contractor who can deliver the following categories of digital products: digital interactives; archival media tablets; and interview tablets.

:

1. It is a condition of participation in this tender that, at the time of lodgement of the expression of interest or tender, the tenderer must not be:
(a) Precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work; or
(b) Subject to a judicial decision against them relating to employee entitlements, not including decisions under appeal, for a breach of workplace relations law, work health and safety law, or workers’ compensation law and the tenderer has not fully complied, or is not fully complying, with the order.
Failure to meet these conditions for participation will mean that the Applicant will be automatically excluded from the procurement process.

• Compliance with the Request for Tender (includes return of signed Returnable Schedules).
• Adequate insurances (to meet the minimum requirements for $10M Public Liability; $1M Professional Indemnity; and Workers’ Compensation)
• Adequate financial stability*.
(* Prior to award of contract, the preferred tenderer will be required to provide a copy, in confidence, of their last two years’ financial statements, signed and audited, and demonstrate their financial capacity to undertake the contract to the satisfaction of the museum’s Chief Financial Officer.  This financial assessment process ordinarily involves independent analysis by an external accredited financial assessor.)
