Description:

The Therapeutic Goods Administration of the Department of Health is planning to publish a Request for Tender (RFT) for the establishment of a new Therapeutic Goods Assessment and Advisory Services Panel.

This panel is expected to deliver services such as evaluation services for a number of technical streams as follows:

Clinical medicines and clinical technologies
Nonclinical (pharmacology/toxicology) sciences
Quality of pharmaceutical therapeutic goods (synthetic pharmaceuticals, biological sciences)
Biostatistics expertise
Pharmacoepidemiology expertise.

Additionally this panel will be expected to deliver services such as advisory services in the following Advisory streams

Biostatistics
Population pharmacokinetic analysis
Nanotechnology
Gene technology and cell therapy
Epidemiology and emerging technologies.
