The proposed work is the remediation of non-conformances to fuel farm infrastructure at RAAF Base Curtin, WA.

The works include the rectification of non-conforming electrical equipment within the fuel farm hazardous area zones, building structural column and masonry repairs/rectification, and the replacement of fuel farm separator/interceptor & the installation of a hydrocarbon containment tank and ancillary infrastructure.

The Contractor will be responsible for the implementation of the following:

• Electrical infrastructure remediation for fuel farm hazardous zone
• Structural repairs to columns in building 124
• Masonry repairs to buildings 125 & 126
• Replacement of existing tripe interceptor

The Tender Documents, Contract, and Special Conditions of Contract are loaded on AusTender (under ‘Go to ATM documents’).

The design documentation have not been attached. To obtain the complete design documentation (including drawings and specifications), Tenderers are to follow the following process:

1. Click on Go to ATM Documents
2. Download the Tender Documents
3. Scroll through the Tender Documents to Appendix 1 – Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement
4. Print and sign the Agreement.
5. Return the signed copy to the Contact Officer noted below via email, with the Agreement scanned to PDF file

Tenderers are to note that without the Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement being returned to the Activity Information Contact, the complete Design Documents are unable to be released.

Industry Briefing:

An industry briefing is scheduled for 10:15am on 10 December 2014.  Tenderers are instructed to arrive by 9:45am at the Site Office for site induction prior to the briefing.  One vehicle per Tenderer will be permitted on site. 

Tenderers are to register their attendance by email to the Contact Officer/Tender Administrator and provide:
• Company name;
• Attendee name(s);
• Attendee address; and
• Attendee driving license number. 

Any questions relating this package of works are to be forwarded via email to the Contact Officer below.  Tenderers are advised that questions and/or enquires submitted to the Contact Officer between 15 Dec. 2014 and 4 Jan. 2015 will not receive a response until the week commencing 5 Jan. 2015

The Tenderer must at the time of submitting its Tender satisfy each condition for participation as follows:

- The Tenderer must complete and return the Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement (Appendix 1 of Tender Documents).
- The Tenderer must comply with the Building Code 2013 at the time of submitting its registration of interest or if no registration of interest was submitted, at the time of submitting its tender.
- The Tenderer must not be precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work or specifically excluded from participating in this tender process.
- Each additional condition for participation stated in the Tender Particulars (if any).
