Land Environment Working Group 2018
Defence will conduct a combined Defence and Industry Working Group to discuss current projects and transitions in the Land Environment on 3 September 2018, Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide, South Australia.
The Land Environment Working Group (LEWG) chaired by Head Land Capability, Major General Katherine Toohey and DR Paul Straughair, provides a forum for discussion between Defence stakeholders and industry members. The aim is to share information regarding Army’s modernisation projects and opportunities for industry, to provide mutual understanding and support for the complementary roles played by industry and Defence. Such engagement assists Defence to better define the capability options and resource requirements which in turn helps industry to prepare for the acquisition and support phases of the projects.
The LEWG will be conducted at the unclassified level and is open to all members of Defence Industry and the ADF.
The LEWG will be conducted at Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide, South Australia commencing at 0830 AM (Adelaide Local Time) on 3 September 2018.
