CrimTrac requires the skills of a suitably experienced expert in identity management, with a demonstrated understanding of issues relating to data management and data use in a policing, justice and customs context. CrimTrac does not have the appropriate resources or expertise to conduct this work in the required timeframe.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience and success in developing strategies for the reconciliation and merging of duplicate person data records across disparate systems and capabilities.
The successful candidate will be required to prepare an issues paper summarising the current state of person data records in the Australian policing, justice and customs context. This paper will articulate the problems and issues associated with disparate data sources, data sovereignty and the redesign of business processes to support sustainable identity management. The paper will articulate the scope of this issue to inform a national strategy to address it. In addition to this the candidate will be required to develop and present on this subject to key CrimTrac stakeholders.
