This Request for Tender is specifically seeking a vendor to provide a managed 'port-to-port' Network Service, which includes:
(A) Transition from current arrangements and ongoing management of the Department's managed Network (see Part 2, Schedule 4A (Managed Network Services Requirements);
(B) development of a Network Modernisation Design (see Part 2, Schedule 4B (Network Modernisation); and
(C) potential implementation of a range of any approved Network Modernisation Projects or Network Modernisation Programs to implement the Network Modernisation Design.
The Department of the Environment and Energy has approached the market for the provision of Managed Network Services. As outlined in Part 1 – Conditions of Tender, the Department intends to host an industry briefing.
The Department wishes to bring to the attention of potential tenderers that the industry briefing event will be held in Canberra, 2:00pm – Tuesday 18 December 2018 (ACT local time), with registrations to the event open until 2:00pm – Monday 17 December 2018. Potential tenderers attendance at the Industry Briefing is recommended but not mandatory.
To attend the industry briefing, registration is completed by emailing the names and positions of three (3) maximum attendees per tenderer to the RFT Contact Officer at:

Tenderers that do not register their attendance or register their attendance after this time, will not be permitted to attend the industry briefing.
The Tenderer must be a legal entity.
