The provision of an information discovery application (IDA) solution
The AFP seeks responses from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of an Information Discovery Application (Solution) comprising:
a robust, user-friendly, corporate information discovery capability to conduct federated searches across an initial set of AFP data sources, subject to AFP authentication and access controls, with the ability to access additional AFP data sources with minimal development and/or customisation; and
a support arrangement providing:
(i) application support, with various levels of required responsiveness, and
(ii) technical support, as required, to incremental IDA capability enhancements.
The AFP is seeking a Solution which requires minimal development and is easily configurable. The AFP's preference is for the Solution to be COTS (with modification and configuration as necessary). However, the AFP will consider all Solutions proposed in accordance with the evaluation criteria.
The AFP will exclude a Tender from further consideration if it considers that, at the time of lodgement of the Tender, the Tenderer:
does not exist as a legal entity (see clause 2.3); or
is not solvent or financially viable.
The AFP will not enter into a contract with a Tenderer that has had a judicial decision against it (not including decisions under appeal) relating to employee entitlements and have not paid the claim.
