The approach to market is intended to be conducted through two stages. This ITR will be used to narrow down a shortlist of ITR respondents, followed by a formal Request For Tender (RFT) stage with the shortlisted ITR respondents. Defence at this stage anticipate signing a final contract for the delivery of the services by the end of 2018.

Description:

Commonwealth approach to market for an Asset Class Prime Contractor (ACPC). The ACPC will be engaged as a long term partner to the Commonwealth in the stewardship of the LHD Asset Class for an initial period of up to 15 years. The LHD Asset Class specifically includes the 2 LHDs (HMAS Adelaide, HMAS Canberra), 12 LHD Landing Craft and associated shore support facilities at Garden Island Defence Precinct and Randwick Barracks.
