Provision of Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)
The Australian Defence Force (ADF) requires contracted support to meet its Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) outputs at multiple locations around Australia. The ADF HUET comprises a one day training course of theory and practical with the Contractor providing supplementary manpower to deliver the training at a number of locations including:
Army HUET facility at Townsville, Queensland;
Navy HUET facility at Naval Aviation Sea Survival Centre (NASSC), Nowra, New South Wales;
Commercial venues at Darwin, Northern Territory; Brisbane Queensland and Adelaide, South Australia.
An Industry Briefing and tour of existing Commonwealth HUET facilities will be held on 29 July 2015 at Lavarack Barracks, Townsville, Queensland, commencing at 0900hrs and finishing 1300hrs. This will be followed by a second Industry Briefing and tour of facilities at Nowra on the 31 July 2015 at the Naval Air Station, Nowra, New South Wales, commencing at 0900hrs and finishing 1300hrs. The Commonwealth will exclude a tender if the Commonwealth considers that the tenderer:
· is not a Registered Training Organisation registered by the national Vocational Education and Training regulator to deliver training and /or conduct assessments and issue nationally recognised qualifications in accordance with the National Skills Framework;
· does not comply with the Commonwealth’s security requirements.
02 March 2016 to 02 March 2018, with two 24 month options.
