Engineering and Maintenance Services
Engineering and Maintenance services in Explosive Hazardous Area facilities within the Explosives Ordnance Precinct (EOP) and Missile Test Area (MTA), Edinburgh Defence Precinct.
To ensure compliance is achieved, the Explosive Ordnance Management Team (EOMT) intends to Contract with a suitably qualified and experience contractor, with both electrical and mechanical competencies, to provide engineering Maintenance Service to ensure the serviceability of equipment used in Defence Science & Technology Organisation’s Weapons and Combat Systems Division’s (WCSD) explosive facilities at Edinburgh, South Australia. This support will be coordinated through the Explosives Ordnance precinct (EOP) Operations Manager, who is a member of the EOMT.
The resultant contract will commence on the 1st July 2015 has a completion date of the 30th June 2016. There is an option for an additional 4 years at one year duration or parts thereof.
The services will be located at Defence Science and Technology Organisation Edinburgh South Australia.
The Commonwealth will exclude a tender from further consideration if the Commonwealth considers that the tenderer does not comply with:
a. the Minimum Content and Format Requirements as specified in the Conditions of Tender clause 3.3;
b. the Conditions for Participations as specified in the Conditi0ns of Tender clause 3.4;
c. the Essential Requirements as specified in the Conditions of Tender clause 3.5.1.

The contract is expected to commence on the 1st July 2015 and will operation for an initial period of 12 months with an completuion date of 30th June 2016.
