Next Generation Health Services
This Invitation to Register (ITR) (Ref: ITR/JHC/NGHS/003) for the Next Generation Health Services (NGHS) Project is the second stage of a three stage procurement process being conducted by the Commonwealth (through Joint Health Command (JHC) in Defence) to procure the next generation of Australian Defence Force Health Services.
In conducting this ITR, JHC is seeking to understand the industry capability and capacity available to identify synergies and provide continuous improvement in the areas of efficient and safe clinical care that assures the best possible patient outcome throughout the term of the resultant Contract; and establish a shortlist of Respondents which are assessed to have the requisite capacity, capability, technical and managerial expertise to satisfy the Commonwealth's health services requirements to progress to the next procurement stage – Stage 3 – RFP.
An industry briefing will be conducted at the Adams Auditorium, Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA), Northcott Drive, Campbell, ACT commencing at 1.00 PM on 13 September 2017.
Nominations to attend the briefing are to be forwarded in writing to the Contact Officer by 5.00 PM on 11 September 2017. The following details are required:
Respondent’s name and location; and
Full name of Respondent’s representatives.
There are no Conditions for Participation. However, as per clause 5.3 of the Conditions of Tender, subject to clause 3.3 of the Conditions of Tender, the Commonwealth will exclude a Response from further consideration if the Commonwealth considers that the Response does not meet the requirements set out in clause 2.2 of the Conditions of Tender, or the Respondent has not provided a signed Declaration by Respondent substantially in the form required at Response Returnable Attachment 3 (Part 3 of the ITR).
An initial six year term, with one or more options to extend for a maximum further period of four years.
