Economic and Social Infrastructure Program (ESIP) PNG
The ESIP is a 15-20 year commitment by the Government of Australia (GoA) to support the Government of PNG (GoPNG) to improve its approach to infrastructure planning, procurement, financing and delivery. It will focus on a range of sectors including energy, telecommunications, water, health and education.
The objective of the program is to improve the prioritisation, quality, and sustainability of infrastructure investment in PNG.
In the initial phase of assistance, the key program outcomes include:
* an increased number of capital projects are being effectively planned, managed and implemented by the relevant GoPNG agencies.
* focal sectors have evidence based prioritised infrastructure plans and processes for their implementation and review.
* a legislative and administrative reform agenda exists to improve policies, regulatory structures and planning for infrastructure investment.
The Tenderer must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth);
The Tenderer must not be listed on the World Bank List or any similar List maintained by a development donor or is the subject of an informal investigation or temporary suspension which could lead the Tenderer becoming so listed;
The Tenderer must not be subject to an adverse Court or Tribunal decision (not including decisions under appeal) for a breach of any workplace relations law, work health and safety law, or workers’ compensation law, or if the Tenderer is subject, that the Tenderer has fully complied, or is fully complying with the Court or Tribunal order; and
The Tenderer agrees to contract as a single legal entity.
Initial Term of 4 years with an option period of up to another 4 years. The Contract arising from this RFT will be subject to GoA and GoPNG approvals.
