Description:

The Tertiary Irrigation Technical Assistance program in Indonesia (TIRTA) will facilitate commercial investment in the provision of irrigation services to small farmers in eastern Indonesia. The program will stimulate the demand for investment by local investors and HIPPAs (water user associations) by demonstrating the mutual benefits to farmers and investors. The aggregated outreach of these schemes is anticipated to be 10,000 small farmers with income increases of at least 60% per farmer.
