Geoscience Australia contributes to the development and maintenance of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) infrastructure in Australia. This infrastructure supports science, industry and has myriad societal benefits.

The infrastructure is expected to densify and improve the GNSS Network in Australia and be capable of observing signals from the range of new GNSS constellations including the Quasi Zenith Satellite System (Japan), BeiDou (China) and Galileo (Europe) as well as GPS and GLONASS.

With a view to continuously improve the GNSS network, Geoscience Australia is seeking to procure Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers and antennas suitable for use at Continuously Operating Reference Sites (CORS).
