The intention of this pre-tender notice is to clarify and inform potential suppliers of the department’s intention to source a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software platform along with services for enabling client and workload management in the department (the project), and to ensure that potential suppliers receive equal advance notice of the department’s intentions in relation to the impending approach to market (ATM) activities.

Important Note:

  • No submissions are required at this time.
  • No questions or clarifications will be accepted or responded to as a result of this Pre-Tender Notice.
  • Further details will be available following the release of an ATM in June/July 2018 including any necessary addenda, clarifications, Industry Briefings and Webinars.

This Pre-Tender Notice provides advance notice of the revised timeline of ATM activities since the completion of the market research activity in March 2018.

The department wishes to thank industry in the ongoing consultation process.

Progress update:

Potential suppliers are informed that the department currently anticipates that it will conduct the following activities on or about the following dates:

  • June/July 2018: release of an ATM seeking responses from potential suppliers.

The department wishes to inform that the purpose of the impending ATM process is to source:

  • a COTS software platform as a service for enabling both client and workload management capabilities in the department;
  • implementation services to develop a viable working solution for one of the business areas of the department using the COTS software platform;
  • Design authority and governance services to ensure the overall solution is supported and maintained and aligns with consistent design principles, service levels and performance requirements. Also to enable future Implementation Partner/s to build on the COTS software platform to extend the overall solution to other areas within the department; and
  • potential future implementation services to build on the COTS software platform to extend the overall solution to other business areas within the department.
