Analytical chemistry services for water samples

The Supervising Scientist Branch (SSB) is responsible for the supervision and monitoring of the environmental performance of uranium mines in the Alligator Rivers Region (ARR) of the Northern Territory to ensure the ongoing projection of the environment in the region.
Key to the requirements of SSB’s core business is the chemical analysis of water samples, including data reports, from an independent source. The timely and accurate reporting of analytical chemistry data is crucial to the SSB’s independent reporting requirements to external stakeholders. As such, the SSB invite potential tenderer’s to provide a response to undertake these services.
The SSB requires the following services to be provided:
a. The chemical analysis of water samples;
b. The provision of reports detailing the chemical analysis of water;
c. The provision of data analysed according to the detection limits listed in Table 1;
d. The provision of data in the form set out in Figure 1; and
e. The provision of data in a format that can be imported directly into ESdat
The resulting contract will be using the Commonwealth contract terms
The Customer requires a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accredited organisation to provide reports detailing the chemical analysis of environmental samples. NATA accreditation must include Chemical Testing - 7.81 Constituents of the environment.
Two (2) years
