The requirement is for Security Services and Maintenance Panel to engage Service Providers who are able to meet a wide variety of security related needs required by various Branches in DIBP.  It is proposed that the panel will be able to deliver a range of services including but not limited to the following broad categories of services:

  • Electronic equipment, systems and services;

  • Hardware equipment and services;

  • Major Installation or Remediation Works

  • Security monitoring centres - ASIAL A1 grading (or equivalent) capable of monitoring duress and intruder

  • Alarms including commercial, Type 1, and Type 1 A alarms.

  • Security Guard and Reception Services.

  • Additional Services

DIBP wishes to facilitate procurement of the Requirement by other Commonwealth Agencies in the future using the mechanisms in this RFT and the Draft Contract

Tenderers must meet the following Conditions of Participation in order to participate in the tender process:

the Tenderer must not be named by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency as an employer currently not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth), unless the Tenderer has obtained a letter of compliance from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency and attaches this letter to its Tender or provides this letter to the Department separately prior to Closing Time;the Tenderer and its proposed Subcontractors are not listed as terrorists under section 15 of the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 (Cth); andthe Tenderer must confirm that neither it, nor any proposed Subcontractor, has a judicial decision against it relating to employee entitlements that is not under appeal or unpaid.Tenderers must hold the required licence to conduct the categories or subcategories of security activities they are tendering for as required by the regulators in each state and territory as indicated in Appendix C of Attachment A (Statement of Requirements).
