Pre-Release Notice for an ATM for Labour Hire Services

The Australian War Memorial is planning to release an approach to market in late March 2017 for provision of Labour Hire Services (Casual and Temporary), and Candidate Sourcing and Selection Services for the Memorial’s sites in Canberra.
The Memorial’s requirement comprises of two (2) components:
Requirement One (Mandatory) - Labour Hire Services
The successful supplier will be required to maintain and manage a pool of contract personnel to meet the Memorial’s casual staffing and rostering requirements in accordance with the appropriate Modern Award. This requirement includes provision of casual contract personnel during peak periods and significant events.
This requirement is Mandatory and all tenderers will be required to submit a tender for this requirement.
Requirement Two – Optional Additional Requirement - Candidate Sourcing and Selection Services
At the written request of the Memorial's Recruitment Manager, (or nominated representative), the supplier will be required to provide candidate sourcing services, sourcing and presenting at least three (3) appropriately skilled candidates per role or a suitable number as requested, within an agreed and/or negotiated timeframe.
This requirement is an optional service. Tenderer’s who submit a tender for Requirement One may choose to submit a tender for this optional additional requirement.
The Memorial plans to enter into a single contract with the successful tenderer for Requirement One or Requirements One and Two.
Mandatory Industry Briefing
The purpose of this pre-release notice is to alert potential tenderers to the mandatory industry briefing that will be held at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra on Friday, 7 April 2017. Attendance at this industry briefing will be a condition of participation in the proposed approach to market.
To receive an email notification when the ATM is published, interested parties need to register with AusTender and place a ‘Watch *’ on the relevant notice in the Australian War Memorial’s Annual Procurement Plan available at: https://www.tenders.gov.au
All potential tenderers must attend a mandatory industry briefing that will be held at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra on Friday, 7 April 2017
The new contract is anticipated to be in place by November 2017
