Core Services and Networking Managed Services Agreement(s) Pre-release Notice

Having considered the implications of whole of government policy and industry trends over the last 6-12 months, the Department has been assessing the structure and bundling of the services required in the provision of its current and future ICT services.
The Department wishes to advise industry that it will be undertaking a number of procurement activities in the coming months to appoint a number of key service partners to assist the Department in managing its end to end ICT services.
As part of the Department’s future service delivery model, it has commenced an initiative to establish its own internal integration capability which will be supported by a number of key service partners in the delivery of a range of services.
Accordingly, the Department will be undertaking a series of procurements, through open tender or via existing whole of government arrangements to appoint key service partners in the following areas:
1) Design and implementation support of the Department’s Service Management capability, including the ongoing delivery of a range of related supporting services.
2) The provision of managed ‘Port-to-Port’ network services; and
3) The provision of managed Data Centre services.
The Department is anticipating a release of the first of these activities within the next three (3) weeks, with the remaining activities to follow over the coming months.
Please note that the Close Date & Time stated in this notice is when the Pre-release Notice will cease to be published and does not reflect the actual closing time for potential tenderers to lodge their submissions. The Request for Tender will be published on AusTender and will include the Close Date & Time for lodging submissions.
