Frontier Brokers Implementation Partner
DFAT is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from organisations experienced in the field of impact investing ecosystem building to share ideas and co-create with others a new mechanism for better connecting entrepreneurs to appropriate types of capital - the Frontier Brokers. DFAT is seeking innovative solutions to bridge the significant gap that exists between social enterprises and the capital they need to scale their impact. DFAT is looking to co-create and support a new mechanism/organisation/business that will specifically match/connect/facilitate impact entrepreneurs with suitable investment across Asia-Pacific. It is expected that the Frontier Brokers will play an important role in ecosystem building for the benefit of the whole sector and region.
It is also expected that the tackling of gender inequality, for example through gender lens investing approaches, should feature prominently in any submitted solutions. DFAT is seeking applications that include gender equality considerations in 1) the analysis of the market; 2) the relationship brokering between entrepreneurs and investors; 3) the advisory services provided to entrepreneurs and investors and; 4) in the advancement of gender equality outcomes through the structure and process of the program overall.
