Metal frame fabrication
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
Provision of engineering, design and metal fabrication services for handling, support, storage and display items for large artefacts in the aircraft collection. This will include:
a) Engineering services for items set-out in attachment A and B;
b) Design, shop drawing and manufacture of items identified in attachment A;
c) Engineer Certification of items as required.
The structure and its component members and connections shall satisfy the design requirements for stability, strength and serviceability according to applicable Australian Standards.
There are no conditions for participation
Delivery of all design documentation must be submitted in staggered batches in accordance with an agreed schedule between the Client and Contractor. Delivery and approval of design documentation is to be finalised by the 15 September 2018.
Delivery of all finished products must be staggered between October and November 2018 with the last delivery to be received no later than 14 December. This date includes the completion of all certifications where required.
