Panel for the Provision of Digitisation of Magnetic Audio and Video Recordings

The Archives is seeking digitisation of Magnetic Media services (audio and video recordings). The Archives wishes to establish for three years (with options to extend at the discretion of the Archives) a panel of successful Tenderers that can provide all or part of the following Services:

digitisation - a range of formats, ages and levels of deterioration;

remediation or repair work (occasional requirement);

transportation to and from the Archives’ offices, and packaging to deliver the original and digitised records to Archives offices in Sydney (mostly), Melbourne or Canberra
The Archives’ objective is to digitise approximately 173,878 Items (124,571 hours), which equates to approximately 42,317 hours of video content and 82,254 hours of audio content. The digitisation of a significant proportion of these Items is required to be delivered by 30 June 2017, within the funding available and market capability in that period.
