ICT Infrastruture Services
Canberra
The TPB requires a managed services arrangement for the provision, management, maintenance and support of its ICT Infrastructure and requirements. The TPB's current ICT environment is outlined in Part 6 Current Environment. The key drivers behind the TPB's ICT strategy are:
(a) the need to demonstrate a physical and logical separation of the TPB's ICT Systems and services from those of the ATO
(b) the need to make strategic and tactical ICT decisions which meet the specific requirements of TPB in isolation to those of the ATO
(c) the need for increased flexibility and responsiveness in the adaption or provision of ICT services to reflect the emergent needs of TPB, and
(d) the need to be cost effective, given the size and nature of the TPB.
As per Part 1, Sec 25 of the Tender Documentation
The TPB proposes to enter into a Contract with the successful Tenderer/s for an initial term of 48 months including of an initial period of up to 12 months to perform the detailed design and transition activities then moving into a 36 month managed services arrangement) with the TPB retaining an option to extend (at its absolute discretion) for additional periods up to 36 months.
