The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) is an Australian Government statutory agency charged under the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Act 1998 with responsibility for protecting the health & safety of people and the environment from the harmful effects of radiation.
ARPANSA is seeking tenders from providers that are licensed to sell electricity to submit a tender for the supply of electricity to the site at 619 Lower Plenty Road, Yallambie VIC 3085.
The Yallambie building occupies approximately 8,234 square metres of office and laboratory accommodation.
The requirement is for a continuous electricity supply generally not exceeding 143,000 kWHr/Mth (based on the last 12 months). The Power Factor is approximately 0.96.
The existing site is supplied by 2 x 22kV Lines and indoor substation which are the local supply authority assets.
Participants to be licenced electricity retailers.
Participants to refer to Appendix A - ARPANSA Yallambie Energy Usage and Response Template. All costs are to be input in table format.
The contract is commencing 01 July 2017.
Commencing 01/07/2017 with options for periods of 1 year, 2 years and 3 years.
