Current Industry Capability to treat PFAS contaminated soil
Industry is invited to respond to this Request for Information in relation to Defence seeking to understand Industry capability to treat per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contaminated soil.
Defence’s objective in conducting this RFI is to gain insights and appreciation of what industry is able to do and its capacity to do so in treating PFAS impacted soil and sediment. Defence is remediating soil and sediment affected by PFAS contamination associated with the use, storage and waste management of historical Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) products.
The nature of the information being sought from Industry spans, but is not limited to, the following areas: expertise; technologies available; capability and capacity; systems effectiveness; and waste product management.
Conditions for Participation:
Respondents should be in businesses involved in the treatment of contaminated soil and sediment management and disposal.
