The ACMA is a Commonwealth statutory authority in the Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy portfolio. The ACMA is responsible for the regulation of broadcasting, the internet, radiocommunications and telecommunications. This includes regulating and allocating public resources such as licences to use the radiofrequency spectrum.
