Assessor – Ranger Project Area Rehabilitation Security

The operator of the Ranger Uranium Mine, Energy Resources of Australia, is required to produce an amended Annual Plan of Rehabilitation that sets out a detailed description of the work which would be required to rehabilitate the Ranger Project Area if operations were to cease on 31 March and rehabilitation commences within 30 days thereafter.
The Assessor is required to estimate the cost of implementing the closure strategy for the Ranger Project Area described by Energy Resources of Australia in the amended Plan of Rehabilitation. The tenderer may choose to visit the mine site and liaise with regulatory authorities.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
The tenderer (or personnel) must be a member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
The anticipated timeframe for the contract is one year with two options to extend, each being for a period of 12 months.
