The Work Under Contract (WUC) is broadly defined as:
Ben Lexcen Terrace (BLT):
- Demolition of existing shelter
- New canopy to the BLT including dual motorised blinds (PVC and mesh)
- Waterproofing around the new works in preparation for future Part 2
- Signage panel above awning
- Access connection to existing lift
South Gallery:
- Part demolition of existing perimeter wall panel to allow new air-lock
- New air-lock to the BLT
- Removal of existing blinds
- Removal of existing block-out exhibition temporary wall
- Replacement of existing glazing with low-e glass (only bottom 2 row) including re-glazing the existing emergency doors
- Replacement of existing carpet tiles with new carpet tiles
- Painting of existing ‘Ship Wall’
- Tidying up of existing services and installation of new services

:

1) Tenderer must be accredited with NSW Government’s Prequalification Scheme (SCM1461) Contractor Prequalification and Best Practice Accreditation Scheme for Construction and Related Work Valued $1 Million and Over.  Tenderer must provide a letter from the Department confirming the accreditation status.
2) Adequate current insurances to meet the following minimum requirements for:
- $10M Public Liability (in any one occurrence)
- $5M Contractors All Risk Insurance
- Workers Compensation Insurance

It is a condition of participation in this tender that, at the time of lodgment of the tender, the tenderer must not be:
a) Precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work; or
b) Subject to a judicial decision against them relating to employee entitlements, not including decisions under appeal, and have not paid the claim.
Failure to meet these conditions for participation, and return a signed copy of Returnable Schedule 2 – Attachment A will mean that the Tenderer will be automatically excluded from the procurement process.

All construction works MUST be undertaken during July/August/September 2019
- 5 July 2019: Site-specific project documents
- 12 July 2019: Site establishment and erect hoardings
- 15 July 2019: Commence construction
- 27 September 2019: Practical Completion
- 4 October 2019: Handover

RfT submissions must strictly comply with ANMM and Federal Government rules and requirements as set out in this document and associated RfT documentation.
