EST02016 HMAS Waterhen Mid-Term Refresh Project – Request for Tender – Design Services Consultant Contract (DSC-1 2003)

The Services include design and related services in respect of the following Works:
- Remediation and replacement of select shore power system components to remediate identified capacity, condition and compliance issues to extend the systems’ useful life until the next major upgrade;
- Upgrade of base perimeter and entry point infrastructure to address identified deficiencies in condition and compliance. This includes perimeter fencing, closed circuit television coverage, and an upgrade to pedestrian and vehicle access points to improve access control performance and safety;
- Reconfiguration and refurbishment of existing working accommodation to optimise spatial utilisation and functionality for known current and future resident units at HMAS Waterhen, including provision of associated Defence Secure Network (DSN) and Defence Protected Network (DPN) terminals, and any required upgrade to or refurbishment of central mechanical services; and
- Provision of an equipment store for deployable capabilities which maintains existing building, road and thoroughfare accesses.
